Rules & Service Agreement

§1 — Account Rules

• Account credentials and access data are personal and non-transferable.
• Accounts created with temporary or disposable emails will be permanently banned.
• 4Past staff is not responsible for lost, sold, or stolen items resulting from shared or compromised accounts.
• Use a unique, secure password for your 4Past account — stolen items cannot be restored.
• Breaking rules on one account may result in penalties across all linked accounts.
• Account sharing is prohibited except in approved tournament events. All associated accounts will be penalized for rule violations.
• Running multiple clients on one device simultaneously is strictly forbidden.

§2 — Naming Rules

• Character, guild, and shop names must not contain profanity, discrimination, politics, religion, or illegal references.
• Impersonating 4Past staff will result in immediate deletion or permanent ban.
• Game Masters may rename or alter any names they deem inappropriate.

§3 — Player Conduct

• Harassment, insults, threats, and manipulation are not tolerated.
• Advertising unrelated products, servers, or websites is forbidden.
• Fraud, scamming, or deceit toward other players or staff is strictly prohibited.
• Claiming association with staff to gain advantages will result in a ban.

§4 — Interaction with Game Staff

• Respect all decisions and directions given by 4Past staff members.
• Do not ask staff for gold, items, or personal favors.
• Support requests should be handled through Discord or the ticket system.
• Staff members can be identified by their official tags: [GM], [TGM], [GA].

§5 — Chat Rules

• Keep conversations civil and appropriate to the channel.
• Offensive or toxic language will lead to penalties based on severity.
• All public chat must be in English to ensure moderation clarity.

§6 — Hacks, Bots, and Exploits

• Using third-party programs or scripts that modify gameplay will result in permanent bans.
• Exploiting bugs or glitches for personal gain is forbidden. Report them immediately.
• AFK botting or farming automation leads to escalating penalties and item confiscation.

§7 — Free Kill & Honor Abuse

• Farming honor by repeatedly killing characters to gain rank or rewards is prohibited.
• Arranging kills with the opposing faction to manipulate honor is considered exploitation.

§8 — Real Money Trading (RMT)

• Selling, buying, or trading accounts, gold, or items for real currency is strictly forbidden.
• Using in-game chat, Discord, or third-party platforms for RMT discussions is not allowed.
• Violations will lead to permanent account bans and IP blacklisting.

§9 — Trading & Item Policy

• Game Staff do not refund failed trades, scammed items, or mail mistakes.
• Always double-check trade windows before confirming exchanges.
• Expired items or misclick purchases are not eligible for refunds.
• The administration is not responsible for player-to-player fraud.

§10 — Tournament Rules

• Registered participants must attend at scheduled times; failure to appear disqualifies the team.
• Any use of unauthorized tools or shared accounts during tournaments will lead to disqualification.

§11 — Farming Conduct

• Blocking or interfering with other players’ farming or questing is prohibited.
• AFK farming with macros, scripts, or tools is subject to ban and item removal.

§12 — Donation Policy

• Donations are voluntary and final. They are used solely for server maintenance and improvements.
• Initiating chargebacks or refund requests will result in permanent bans on all accounts.
• Donation system issues should be reported via Discord or support ticket.
• Abusing the donation system or exploiting it intentionally will result in permanent suspension.

§13 — Item Recovery

• Lost items due to technical issues may be recoverable through a verified support ticket.
• False claims or item falsification attempts will result in permanent bans.

§14 — Virtual Goods & Ownership

• All virtual goods are property of 4Past and hold no real-world monetary value.
• Items, currencies, and characters cannot be converted, exchanged, or sold for real money.
• 4Past reserves the right to modify or remove any virtual goods or services at any time without notice.

Effective From: 01.01.2025

This Service Agreement (“Agreement”) defines the relationship between you (“User”) and 4Past, the developer and operator of the MMORPG 4Past. By creating an account or making a donation, you agree to these terms.

1. Definitions

• Moonstones — in-game currency granted as a reward for voluntary donations.
• Digital Goods — virtual, non-tangible assets, including Moonstones, cosmetic items, and upgrades.
• User Account — the account required to play and interact with 4Past services.

2. Donations

• All donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
• Donations do not guarantee advantages; they support server operation and development.
• Moonstones are a symbolic thank-you reward, not a product purchase.

3. Account Security

• You are solely responsible for your account’s safety and password confidentiality.
• We are not liable for unauthorized access caused by user negligence.

4. Liability & Ownership

• All virtual goods remain the property of 4Past.
• 4Past is not responsible for loss of progress, disconnections, or downtime.
• 4Past shall not be held liable for indirect or incidental damages related to your account or donations.

5. Amendments

• 4Past reserves the right to modify this Agreement at any time with prior notice via official channels.
• Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
